For those of you new here, it's become a tradition for me to post comics made with the Garfield Randomizer after I've been on hiatus for a while. And I've also promised to post some comics made with Garkov as well, but I never did, and I found about two more similar randomizer things in the meantime, so here you go!

I don't have any vision-impaired transcripts for my older ones yet, but I've added that as yet another entry on my to-do list :)

Garfield Randomizer #159-163 )

Garkov #1-10 )

Previously on the X-Files #4-8 )

Jesus Markoving Christ #1-5 )

Maybe this entry could get going if it lets you kill it without an.

you are steelblue
#4682B4

Your dominant hues are cyan and blue. You like people and enjoy making friends. You're conservative and like to make sure things make sense before you step into them, especially in relationships. You are curious but respected for your opinions by people who you sometimes wouldn't even suspect.

Your saturation level is medium - You're not the most decisive go-getter, but you can get a job done when it's required of you. You probably don't think the world can change for you and don't want to spend too much effort trying to force it.

Your outlook on life is brighter than most people's. You like the idea of influencing things for the better and find hope in situations where others might give up. You're not exactly a bouncy sunshine but things in your world generally look up.

EDIT ON MAY 12, 2018: THIS IS THE OLD VERSION OF MY GLOSSARY... or at least the oldest version that was a sticky entry rather than on my profile, anyway. THE NEW GLOSSARY IS... nowhere, yet, but I'm going to FINALLY get around to updating this glossary for the first time in years after I'm done fixing all my entries on both LJ and DW.

I made this sticky entry in 2011, but then I didn't update it much after that and left it outdated for nearly SEVEN YEARS - long enough that I decide I might as well preserve the old version of the glossary, but make it no longer sticky in favor of a NEW sticky entry with the updated glossary.

Everything below this point is as the entry originally appeared, except I got rid of the lj-like buttons. The former subject line was simply "Glossary of Matt1993isms".

----

I finally got around to updating this glossary and moving it to a sticky post so that it wouldn't clutter up my profile and I could have LJ-cuts to jump to certain sections!

Although the whole point of these multiple LJ-cuts is for ease of navigation (i.e. if I reference a Matt1993ism in the definition of a Matt1993ism in a different section, I'd link to the proper section), I haven't had the time to actually go through and add all these links, so stay tuned for that. I also thought about adding artwork for certain entries *cough*/crazymegavideo/*cough*, so stay tuned for that too. :)

As I said in the old glossary, if you spot a Matt1993ism I used that I haven't defined here, or if FoxReplace messes up the "pucker up because it's time for lunch" entry again, etc., please let me know :)

EDIT: Added some more Matt1993isms and tags, but still need to add the links and artwork. I'm also pretty sure there was another Matt1993ism that I still forgot to add...

/-7 ) A ) B ) Ca-Ch ) Co-Cr ) D-E ) F-G ) H ) I-K ) L-M ) N ) O ) Pi-Pro ) Prt-Pu ) Q-R ) S-T ) U-W ) Y ) Abbreviations )

Too bad I don't have a Matt1993ism that has to do with reposting

New Repost Order
matt1993: (pass)
Well, my midterms began today.

Government - For our Government midterm (or technically final, since we only have it one semester), we pretended to be the House of Representatives and the Senate, came up with one House bill and one Senate bill yesterday, and today we had a mock debate on which to pass. I had trouble coming up with a point to make that someone else hadn't already made; I only managed to do so once. :(

Bible - Our "midterm" was just to write a little about what we liked and didn't like about Bible class this year and what should be different next year.

Physics - Since Physics is basically math, I had no problem with it :)

Tomorrow are the two hardest classes - English and Speech. Blah. Bleh. Blih. Bloh. Bluh. And sometimes blyh.

In other news, I don't know why I didn't mention this before, but on Saturday I took the ACT for the last time with accommodations. I completed all of the multiple-choice sections! However, I only managed to write two paragraphs for the essay :(

EDIT: Whoa, 550th post! :D

An entry walks 164.2 km to your journal in 206 seconds. What is its average velocity?

You know how sodium and chlorine are both poisonous but sodium chloride is edible? Apparently, it's kinda the same thing with MeBl (annoyingmemium blasphemide), because this site is hilarious:

I checked out this website (it gives the probable dates of events in Revelation) and I'm probably gonna have another Haley the Double-Agent Prophet dream tonight. Especially since a couple of weeks or so ago I already had another dream involving some list that included "Haley Prophet" (apparently her full name).

Hmm...
matt1993: (infinite-paragraph essay)
Out of the exams I took today, I'm the most confident about the anatomy exam, since my teacher graded all of the exams before class ended and said I made an A+. I'm the second-most confident about the Bible exam since all four students were allowed to take it as a group, then history because although I only forgot the answers to two short-answer questions, I didn't have a lot of time to write the essay (though it didn't have to be five-paragraph).

Tomorrow is an English exam consisting of four essay questions. Blah.

Only 8 hours total of school left for me! Yay!

Tomorrow I take my anatomy, Bible, and history exams. I feel the most optimistic about my anatomy exam, but not by much...

Okay, nothing apocalypsey happened 100 days before the March 25 possiblecalypse, but 99 days before it (i.e. last night), I had a dream involving 666 flavored water. 666 flavored water? 666 flavored water? 666 flavored water? That's either an ominous sign or Sketch-a-Doodle's favorite drink. Or both, possibly.

Anyways, I think I did well on the anatomy, Bible, and history exams. Tomorrow is my English exam.

I also went shopping for Christmas presents with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien today. Yay!

666-flavored repost
matt1993: (hypercube)
Tomorrow, the exams at school begin; anatomy, Bible, and history are tomorrow. Which means until January 5, my only homework will be in HAS! Yay!

In other news, nothing last-100-days-before-apocalypse-y seems to have happened yet.

Quiz of the day:

Chance You'll Live to 100: 57%

You've got a decent chance of living to 100, especially if you're still fairly young.

You take pretty good care of yourself, but you could always do better.

Get enough sleep and relax. Life isn't a race. The slower you go... the further you'll get.

Today seemed like it would be a good day at first, since my only homework (if you could call it homework) that's due (if you could call it due) tomorrow is to study for my history test tomorrow. But when I got home, guess what? I forgot to bring my history stuff home! Now I have to find some extra time during anatomy and/or Bible class to study. :(

On another note, I recently started playing Dungeons & Dragons with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen, and my character (Cranther) is apparently more severely autistic than I am, since I was not expecting to have to act out conversations with NPCs.

matt1993: (hypercube)
The first two periods in school today were pretty hilarious.

In anatomy class, we got a list of safety procedures. #3 is:

"3. Students who are pregnant, taking immunosuppressive drugs, or who have any other medical condition (e.g., diabetes, immunological defect) that might necessitate special precautions in the laboratory must inform the instructor immediately."

And yet the student handbook for our school says that pregnancy and other Level Four offenses can result in expulsion from school. (I don't think these safety procedures were written by our school, but still)

In Bible class, we got a handout of class requirements, grading criteria, and the like. The header says:

"Junior and Senior Boys Bible 2009-20010"

Great. I only have [anyonewhoreferencesthatstupidmemewillbegivenaboottothehead]9000½[/anyonewhoreferencesthatstupidmemewillbegivenaboottothehead] years to study for my midterm exams.

I had a lot more homework today than I did yesterday, but at least it's the weekend!

200th post!

matt1993: (afer ventus or the river sings backwards)
For my 200th LJ entry (my profile will say 201, but that's because I haven't deleted the welcome entry that's automatically made for new users), I decided to do something completely pointless: take the first word from my first post, the second word from my second post, the third word from my third post, and so on, all the way up to this one. (If post #X has Y words, and Y is less than X, then the remainder of X ÷ Y is Z, and I use the Zth word instead, or the last if Z is zero.) And yes, this is a ripoff of 160 Seconds.

So here goes )

Context )

While doing this, I've noticed that I have quite a few posts that are exactly 48 words long, by the way. Coincidence?

On a less pointless note, I had to get my braces tightened again today. And this time, there are rubber bands holding the top and bottom braces together (which have to be changed every time I eat or brush my teeth, and also before I go to bed), so it probably won't pull a my wisdom teeth this time. :(

Yesterday I took my Bible exam - I think I did great on it.

Today I took my reading exam (which was four essays) - I think I did just okay on those.

Tomorrow is my chemistry and Spanish exams. I'm good at those so I should do just fine.

<sarcasm>This is TOTALLY the kind of entry that people tend to repost</sarcasm>
matt1993: (Default)
Yesterday, I was doing a section review in history class, and this happened:

HISTORY BOOK: The invasion of what country by the Soviet Union in 1979 potentially threatened the world's oil supplies in the Persian Gulf region?
ME: Wars limited to specific geographical areas.

I dunno how I could have misread the entire question. Yesterday, I would have bet you a statue of Waenya (for those of you new to my friendslist, she's this) made out of macaroni & cheese that the question was asking what limited wars are.

Fortunately, the other funny thing that happened today did not lower any of my grades in any way:

LYRICS TO SONG WE WERE SINGING IN CHAPEL: Bind us together, Lord, bind us together with chains that cannot be broken...
WHAT I THOUGHT MY BIBLE TEACHER WAS SAYING: Bind us together, Lord, bind us together with Lords that cannot be broken...

And yet the song also claims that there is only one Lord.

I accidentally fell asleep for nearly three hours after school. In other words, wasted the fact that I have no homework today. :(

Even more band names taken from conversations )

I had to spend time actually participating in drama this week since it was the last week to come up with a skit to be in and practice it, so I didn't get as many band names this week, but oh well.
matt1993: (updated prtsc land me)
Even though the talent show band finally came up with a name (Three Blind Mice and a Rat), I still took band names out of conversations again because it was fun.

Staple to your journal

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
