matt1993: (identicon from antheastrezze.com)
For a while, I had gotten better at making new LJ userpics as opposed to procrastinating making them. I made one new userpic on Thursday, three on Saturday, one on Sunday, and what I think is a new record - FIFTEEN yesterday!

But then, apparently I flipped back to being a procrastinator, because pretty much all I did the rest of the day yesterday was play Data Worm on Facebook, read random pages on the Homestar Runner Wiki, and reading random stuff on Gadzillion Things. The only other eventful thing I did was watching part of the eclipse last night with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen.

I think I set another new personal record today, as well - I didn't get up until 2:22 PM because I was so tired. :(

5,330 words in Moya's Space Log now. And still no Stars. If the D&D-style boards I've been making take a while to play through with only four enemies, imagine how long bosses and Cosmic Clone missions (which I will actually have to use the boards for) will take!

Moya's Space Log, part 7 )

Note: I was originally going to have Team Brennario members always restart at the checkpoint flag regardless of whether or not they all died at once, but then I realized that in some galaxies, anyone that dies would end up dying over and over until the other three commit suicide, so I had to change it to the New Super Mario Bros. Wii way (i.e. they end up in bubbles). That's why Mario never told Enya & Moya the part about the bubbles until just now.

*[livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien told me about a time that her foot got stuck in a hole in the couch while she was playing NSMBW with Stephen, and she said, "My foot's stuck. I'm bubbling." :D

Some things I meant to post about the past three days, but didn't:

I finally beat New Super Mario Bros. Wii last Monday, followed by Super Mario Galaxy last Tuesday. Yay!

Yesterday, [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien, Stephen, and I went to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief. 'Twas interesting! I was kinda surprised by how many things in the movie reminded me of Mario: 1) the fireballs Hades threw looked kinda like the ones Fire Mario throws, 2) Percy's winged shoes reminded me of the Wing Cap from Super Mario 64, and 3) there was one scene in Las Vegas where a Mario Bros. arcade machine was actually in the background. Usually, you don't get that many Mario references out of anything about Greek mythology. ;)

Die, then come back and repost

Aw, gnat! LJ is down for maintenance, so I'm gonna type stuff to post in Notepad and post it once LJ is back.

Anyways, I accidentally fell asleep after school today. Again. This time, though, once I woke up, I went back to sleep on purpose.

I then played Dungeons & Dragons with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen. This is the first time I've used my tiger Garfield in battle and the first time I leveled up in the game. There was also this funny part where Stephen asked P_A what her charisma modifier was, and she thought he said "Christmas modifier." I've gotta make that into a new profile name now. By the way, my new character is a druid named Juke; we abandoned the campaign that has Cranther. Poor Cranther.

Also, what's weirding me out is how much updates/maintenance is happening on the same day. First, my computer apparently messed up during updates and went into Startup Repair (which I cancelled and started normally, allowing my computer to finish the updates), then ICQ automatically updated, and now LiveJournal maintenance. Is today National Maintenance Day or something?

Aw, come on! I'm only 20% bored! How does that count as "BORED"?

Okay, now LJ is back. Time to post!

Yesterday, my only homework was 25 math problems, but it took me 3 hours and 30 minutes to do it all. That comes out to 8 minutes and 24 seconds per problem. Then I got to see the one LJ comment I had recieved that day before I played Dungeons & Dragons & Autism with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen, taking up the rest of my free time.

Today, I had 14 math problems and 23 anatomy problems (37 in all) and finished them in 5 hours and 15 minutes, which is even worse - 8 minutes and 30 30/37 seconds per problem. My bedtime is in only 8 minutes. :(

I'm getting WAY worse at focusing. (Not saying that I was ever any good at focusing, by the way.) :(

*sigh*

Today seemed like it would be a good day at first, since my only homework (if you could call it homework) that's due (if you could call it due) tomorrow is to study for my history test tomorrow. But when I got home, guess what? I forgot to bring my history stuff home! Now I have to find some extra time during anatomy and/or Bible class to study. :(

On another note, I recently started playing Dungeons & Dragons with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen, and my character (Cranther) is apparently more severely autistic than I am, since I was not expecting to have to act out conversations with NPCs.

...and to top it off, I picked one of those stupid all-you-have-to-do-is-enter-your-name quizzes. Oh well.

Chain-Smoking Hookers go to College 2: Dean Miser's Revenge

Is it bad that I didn't know what chain smoking was until I Googled it right after taking this quiz?

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien, Stephen, and I lit some fireworks a while ago. Fun fun.

So [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien, her boyfriend, and I went to see Up, but the 6:30 or so showing was sold out and we bought tickets for the 9:30 showing.

While we were waiting, we went to Petsmart to look at the pets, which was originally just to pass the time, but then one of the kittens (named Miles) turned out to apparently really like me and want me to adopt him. If Mom turns out to be okay with it (in other words, if I create a REALLY big hole in the fabric of space and time), I'll be getting Miles on my 16th birthday, which is 38 days away (almost exactly 38 days away, in fact, since it's just after midnight in my time zone).

Up turned out to be a good movie once we finally saw it.

I am in desperate need of sleep though. :(

The funniest three things I ever heard today:

So, I have a project in reading class where I have to pick four quotes in Night that have to do with one of the symbols in the book and explain each quote. I picked fire as the symbol, and had asked [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien if she could help me with it, and she agreed, but then she said she doesn't remember any instances of fire in Night. Then this happened:

ME: (something about the part where Mrs. Schächter says, "Fire! I see a fire! I see a fire!")
PATHVAIN_AELIEN: Wait, what?
ME: You know, that woman on the bus who--
PATHVAIN_AELIEN: Did you just call her Trogdor?

Later on, when pathvain_aelien was getting something:

PATHVAIN_AELIEN'S BOYFRIEND: Come on, Trogdor!

Even later, when we were talking about the project again:

PATHVAIN_AELIEN'S BOYFRIEND: Is Trogdor a symbol?

Sure, the Trogdor comes in the night, but not the one by Elie Wiesel.

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
