Oh wait, April Fools' Day is already pretty much over. That, and this "exclusive photo" might also just be an existing photo of Enya edited onto a Super Mario Maker background and with Mary O.'s clothes drawn over hers. Made by me. Because, again, my entry about Mary O. and Yamamura: The Movie was an April Fools prank. :P


( Why I didn't actually use that picture in the entry itself - cut because I'm guessing that out of my April Fools entries, the MO&Y entry was the least interesting to anyone besides me )

Oh, and all those other things (Photobucket somehow taking down non-Photobucket userpics; my considering deleting this journal; my other journal being suspended; this site shutting down) were April Fools pranks too, even if you see this before I'm done changing the Photobucket placeholder userpics back to the normal ones (which I probably won't get done with all of tonight). So please, don't panic. Please. :)

I have to say, after over three years of trying to fix various broken images and other things in my journal, it was so surreal putting time and energy into breaking some of my images instead. :P


This is pretty much how it felt!


To those of you who've read any of these April Fools entries and still like me: Thank you for tolerating and putting up with the fact that I have such a weird sense of humor. Also thank you for putting up with my fanboying, if you read that one. :P

Since I couldn't add a poll to the LJ version of the previous entry after it was posted, I was forced to put that in a separate entry instead. And then to crosspost that entry to DW just because I don't like the idea of a LJ entry not having ANY counterpart on DW. (though I made the DW version private until now)


Even if you normally read my entries only on LJ or DW, I recommend making an exception here and reading both copies of each of my April Fools entries, because as part of the joke this year, I might have thrown my usual attempts at making my LJ and DW look nearly identical out the window for the day and deliberately introduced a few subtle differences between the versions of these entries... ;)

I said in a friends-only entry earlier today that one of my classes today made me feel so uncomfortable, I felt that nothing that could possibly make my day any better.

I WAS WRONG.

While being reassured about what I mentioned in the entry itself also helped me feel a little better, what REALLY improved my day was:

The only problem is now entries like this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, and this one seem even weirder in retrospect than they already did (is that even possible?) because many times have prooty passed* since the last time I knew for a fact that Enya is still alive and that her hiatus wasn't because of anything weird I said on LJ four years ago. I've forgotten what it was like to not be so worried about those things! :)


*Yes, I threw Homestar Runner references into a post about Enya. Enya and H*R both went on long hiatuses that began within a year of each other and ended within a year of each other, so why not? :)

Okay, this is really creepy.

For the past 666 weeks or so, I've been working on a fairly long LJ post with more images than I've made for a single post before. About as many as you'd find in the average Hyperbole and a Half post, in fact, which is why it's taken so long even though most of the images are edits of images I found online. (Of course, one of the ones that isn't is a huge graph...)

Today, my calculator (which I've made a program on to keep track of how fast I need to work if I wanna finish the graph and post this entry before the next semester of college) ran out of battery power, and since I wasn't sure if we had any more lithium batteries (since replacing the regular batteries didn't help), I made an Excel spreadsheet instead.

Now here's the creepy part. About 8-10 times today, the spreadsheet's calculations gave numbers containing 666 (e.g., 16662.somethingsomething).

Plus, recently I've been rolling 3 dice (or 4 when there were 4 unfinished parts of the entry) to determine what parts of the entry I'm allowed to work on next (e.g., if I get a 1 or 4, a 2 or 5, and a 3 or 6, it's up to me, but if I only get 2's and/or 5's I have to work on the graph); just recently, I rolled the dice, and out of 216 possible outcomes, guess what I got?

6-6-6

Even scarier is the fact that just yesterday (well, technically the day before that since it's after midnight), pathvain_aelien saw the dice and thought they read 6-6-6. They didn't, but still, scary how all these actual 666's ended up appearing... :O

Right now I have 665 unread LJ messages, and since I'm too lazy to mark them all as read right now, this means eventually I'll have 666! :O

EDIT: Now I do have 666 unread messages. Ack!

Well, it's after 2:46 AM on the Day of Frozen Pets, and I'm still alive. Yay!

In about 27 minutes, I have to leave for a college visit. This time, I'm gonna be staying overnight in a dorm with current students, so I'll be back Monday. Let's hope that nobody asks me whether or not I listen to a really popular band...

Also, yesterday I uploaded my 100th userpic! Yay!! Special thanks to an_bhean_airgid for posting the comment that required me to upload this userpic for my reply!

Also, something I've been wondering: Y'see, whenever I get a LiveJournal comment and am worried about what it might say, for some reason I always scroll straight to the bottom of the comment notification as quick as possible, then scroll back up slowly to the comment. Does anyone else do this? And if so, do you have any idea why it would feel safer to scroll all the way down and then back up even though it'd be the same comment either way?

Also, my left ear starting hurting for no apparent reason last Tuesday (it felt like it was either broken or constantly being pushed on), but today it doesn't seem to hurt anymore. What's weird about that is that it started hurting exactly 659 days after my first 666 dream (the number 659 appeared in a semi-recent dream) and exactly a week before the Day of Frozen Pets. Coincidence? Then again, I never had a dream with 664 in it, so the day it stopped hurting doesn't seem to be significant...

Yesterday, on the way to school I saw a license plate with "20G" (which looks like 206, from a dream that I think I can stop linking to every time I mention it now) on it, and on the way back, I saw one with "797" on it. A sign?
