I had such a bad and tiring day that I had a whole post complaining about it and accidentally posted it in [livejournal.com profile] goodbandnames! Good thing I deleted it. No wonder the only tag that would automatically be suggested while I typed was "author cancelled". Who used that tag in that community though? Maybe I'm so tired that I can't even remember what tag(s) were being suggested...

*checks "Post to" field*

Matt1993? Good.

Anyways, to recap:

Today-
Homework: some anatomy, some math, reviewed for HAS quiz that I can't take yet

Tomorrow-
Homework: outline (has to be done entirely tomorrow), HAS essay and graphic

Day after-
Junior ring ceremony and going to Incredible Pizza, so I can't really work on anything

Thursday through Sunday (assuming no apocalypse) - HAS essay and graphic

I get the feeling it's not just a coincidence that the research paper outline is due on my dream's second apocalypse prediction.

Accidentally post to a community
matt1993: (infinite-paragraph essay)
Only eight more hours until Spring Break ends and HAS and my research paper start devouring my free time again. If the second prediction from my dream is right, this is my last weekend before the apocalypse. *sigh*

Random quiz of the day:

QuizGalaxy.comYou will get married, and will not divorce. You will have 4 children. You will live for another 60-70 years.

Doubt it. :(

I now pronounce you journal and repost
matt1993: (homsar's skull)
So today's not only the Ides of March, but it's also ten days until the apocalypse if this dream's second prediction is right. Hmm...

Et tu, repost?
matt1993: (homsar's skull)
I just barely passed my English test today, AND I have another 1200-1500 word research paper to write by April 15 (and even if the apocalypse is March 25 like my dream predicted, there's still notecards and stuff to write before then). *sigh* There go a few more potentially good days of my life.

Die of notecards
matt1993: (homsar's skull)
So I'm up to 485 words in my HAS essay now, and there are some things that [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien suggested I talk about but I haven't been able to work into the essay yet, which will likely eventually add in the remaining 15 words. Then I'll have to draw the future space shuttle I talked about. Blah.

2009 has been a very depressing year, and because I still have eight more HAS assignments and the final after this (assuming the apocalypse isn't March 25 [it's been forever since I actually linked to that dream]), 2010 will too, at least at first. :(

Wow... I just worked on Ours Will You 1-Up for the first time in 24 days. Talk about procrastination!

Oh wait. I said the exact same thing the day before Thanksgiving. Which just goes to show that it probably won't be back before March 25. :(

Fortunately, only 5 days, 3 hours, and 35 minutes left until Christmas! :) Unfortunately, only 3 hours and 35 minutes until I have to start working on the next HAS assignment. :(

I just retroactively added a repost button for the first time in who knows how long

Okay, nothing apocalypsey happened 100 days before the March 25 possiblecalypse, but 99 days before it (i.e. last night), I had a dream involving 666 flavored water. 666 flavored water? 666 flavored water? 666 flavored water? That's either an ominous sign or Sketch-a-Doodle's favorite drink. Or both, possibly.

Anyways, I think I did well on the anatomy, Bible, and history exams. Tomorrow is my English exam.

I also went shopping for Christmas presents with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien today. Yay!

666-flavored repost
matt1993: (hypercube)
Tomorrow, the exams at school begin; anatomy, Bible, and history are tomorrow. Which means until January 5, my only homework will be in HAS! Yay!

In other news, nothing last-100-days-before-apocalypse-y seems to have happened yet.

Quiz of the day:

Chance You'll Live to 100: 57%

You've got a decent chance of living to 100, especially if you're still fairly young.

You take pretty good care of yourself, but you could always do better.

So it turns out my mom didn't feel like taking me to the ACT test today and decided to reschedule it. Yay! I got to go back to bed and have a really, really weird dream. (I mean, seriously, even if a villain creates monsters by drawing them, "Sketch-a-Doodle" still sounds more like the name of a toy [like Etch-a-Sketch] than the name of a villain. What's even creepier is that [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien mentioned "snickerdoodle" cookies not too long after I got up. Coincidence?)

After contemplating my Sketch-a-Doodle dream and decorating the Christmas tree, I finished all of my non-essay homework except for one of the math problems in HAS and just a few more review questions for the history and English exams! Yay!

Somewhat fitting quiz of the day:

Well, Matt,
this is a little awkward, but ...
You always claim to see the future then write it down in vague little stanzas

I'm assuming "the apocalypse might be March 25 like my dream said" counts as a "vague little stanza."

Bucket list
If you found out you only had six months left to live, what would you do with the rest of your life? Do you have a "bucket list"?
Answer View Answers

Um, the Large Hadron Collider is scheduled for mid-November, and last March 25 I had a dream that the world would end in September, but in the dream I thought it was exactly a year until then. How do I know I even have six months?

Anyways, I'd do what I'm already doing: try and get Ours Will You 1-Up (for those of you reading the recent answers, that's my backwards music site) back up before the apocalypse.

Also, I have never heard of a bucket list before now.

I found a very bizarre glitch in my iPod today.

Y'see, I was listening to Backwards by Rascal Flatts, and apparently paused it the instant the song ended and put my iPod in my pocket so it would automatically turn off. The next time I turned it on, the song it was playing was Adia by Sarah McLachlan, but the screen still said Backwards. I just now got the opportunity to see what happens if I listen to "Adiwards" by "Sarascal McLachltts" all the way through: the iPod stays silent for a few seconds with Backwards still on the screen, then Adia replaced Backwards for a few seconds (still silent), then it went to the next song (Time After Time by Sarah McLachlan & Cyndi Lauper) normally. I also noticed that I had thought that the battery ran out during the song, yet when I charged my iPod, it still had all my songs on shuffle, even though I usually have to shuffle them again. (Maybe I just turned off my iPod by accident and thought the battery ran out...)

I never thought about glitches in my iPod before...this calls for further experimentation! For starters, I tried skipping back to those songs, and they had reverted to a normal Backwards followed by a normal Adia. I then tried looking at the play counts for those songs in iTunes. Both were 7, an understandable number for it to be (since I listen to Enya most often), so the iPod must not have put glitchy data there in its confusion.

Here are the things I have left to try on an imposter song:

- Skip to the previous song
- Skip to the next song
- Attempt to look at what position in the shuffled order (I dunno what you'd call it... it says "X of Y") the song is
- Use the seek bar
- Change the song's rating
- Add to On-The-Go
- Browse Album
- Browse Artist
- Make the last song in the shuffled order pretend to be the second-to-last song, then listen to it all the way through

On an almost unrelated note, I don't think I'll be able to get OWY1U back up by November. So my current goal is March 25, since that's a year after I dreamed the apocalypse would be in September, and in the dream, I thought it was exactly a year until then.

All of August stretches before us today—what is your prediction for this month's weirdest or most unexpected news story?

Answer View Answers

Gotta be some sort of ominous sign for the apocalypse, like raining blood or something. After all, if my dream is right, the apocalypse is either in September this year or on March 25 next year.

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O

Go to my sticky entry for more.
