Lady Palutena

AI created by qt1p

I am Lady Palutena, goddess of light, and you?

Chats I've made starring Palutena: (Estimated total reading time: 13 minutes)
243 - Palutena and Rosalina (Aug 12, 2024 - 13 min. read) - Are you….lonely? *Palutena’s wings spread out around the room to express her disbelief* You travel the whole galaxy! And you have all those Lumas as friends! How could you possibly be lonely?

Also, as of the last time I read it, Pit's character definition stated that Palutena is teaching him to read so that he can chat with people, which technically implies Palutena is present in all chats I've saved featuring Pit.

You know Super Smash Bros., right? That fighting game starring such iconic video game all-stars as Larry, Mario, Princess Twinkie, Yogi, Kong 1, Zelda, The Beautiful Woman Interviewing Me, Shamu, Pudgy Airplane, Donald Duck's Offspring, Wombat?, Crash Bandicoot, Yellow Man, Charlie Brown, King Arthur, Knights of the Crooked Sword, Pegasus Dude, The Princess of Something, Triangle-Nosed Boy, The Unknown Yoga Person, Kid With a Crazy Sword Thing, Garfield and Friends, Something the Hedgehog, a LEGO, Happy, and more? ;)

Yeah, apparently, at some point around the time the 3DS and Wii U versions were released, there was a trend of people on YouTube showing their relatives (or, in at least one case, random people) all the playable characters' artwork and asking them to try to guess their names.

These are all of the videos of this sort that I've found so far*, and most of them are just so funny that even if you have no interest in video games whatsoever, I recommend that you watch at least one! :D (I highly recommend not reading the comments on certain ones, though...)

Cut because I included 12 more, but they're great! )

*Except for one that's in Spanish and doesn't have enough subtitles for me to understand anything besides the characters' actual names. Also, eventually I found that there were so many that I decided to narrow it down by just watching ones that had at least a thousand views for now (though that was after I watched a couple that had less).

Yep - I created my LJ account on August 19, 2007. Sad how the anniversary of LJ should happen to be the day after I accidentally deleted a lot of LJ-related stuff, though... in fact, I was so busy after that happened, I didn't get to finish this post until the day after the anniversary of my LJ. :(

I also wanted to include LJ comment stats (which I said I'd do every three months starting on the fourth anniversary, but ended up deciding to just do once every year), but since this post is already late, I'll post them later.

First line of my first entry on or after the 19th of every month )

I'm against SOPA for all of the same reasons that the Gods of Being Able to Voice Opinions Better than Matt1993 (e.g. LiveJournal, Wikipedia, Google, Randall Munroe, Ryan North...) are - and this is coming from a guy who usually doesn't comment on anything controversial because he either becomes depressed about what side to be on or posts about an occurrence of a number like 206 in a news article or something rather than actually discussing the issue.

In fact, until SOPA is rejected, I'm going to do a clever take on the blackouts that Wikipedia, Wikia, xkcd and Dinosaur Comics (and any other websites I don't know about yet) have done - I'll blackout as many of my userpics (well, not really blackout - I'm not sure how to describe it, so just look at the userpic on this entry) as I can before the 24th (or whenever SOPA is rejected, or - if we're too unlucky for that - SOPA is repealed after becoming law). To keep this from turning out like my attempt at replacing userpics with PSL-styled variations (i.e., not getting to finish soon enough), I'm gonna upload each one as soon as I make it. Dunno how many I'll be able to replace before the impending apocalypse the Senate begins voting on it, though...

EDIT: These are even more difficult to make than I thought! I only got four finished today, but trust me, you don't need to see 112 shadowed userpics containing somewhere from 5 to 109 SOPA jokes to see my (and LJ's, and Wikipedia's, and Google's...) point. According to Google, the White House didn't even need one. I'm still gonna make more, though!

And yes, I know my LJ isn't well-known enough for this to have much of an impact, but I'm putting the idea out there for anyone else who wants to try it.

*It's too different from our universe for it to be parallel :P

Do you think celebrities deserve as much recognition, attention, and money as we, as a society, give them? What do you think it says about our cultural values?

Answer View Answers

Not really, especially celebrities that people treat as gods, like Chuck Norris. Don't get me wrong, I like to hear Chuck Norris jokes every now and then, but ones like "Jesus could roundhouse kick Chuck Norris in the face but wouldn't"...yeah.

And yes, I'm a teenage guy that, unlike stereotypical teenage guys, doesn't always like Chuck Norris jokes. Deal with it.

Chuck Norris can repost this entry (then again, anyone can)

Startling new evidence has been found that Waenya has existed since ancient Greek times! (And by "Waenya has existed since ancient Greek times" I mean "anytime I see something that sounds remotely like an Enya/Mario crossover, I must point it out no matter what".)

On the Wikipedia article on Enyalius:

"Enyalius or Enyalio in Greek mythology is generally a byname of Ares the god of war but in Mycenaean times is differentiated as a separate deity. On the Linear B Knossos Tablet KN V 52 the name E-nu-wa-ri-jo is interpreted to refer to this same Enyalios."

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
