How many digits of pi have you memorized?

3.1415926535897932386... I don't remember beyond there.

*checks to make sure these are correct*

GAH! That last decimal place I typed shouldn't be a 6! It should be a 4, then a 6!

So, despite my grapheme→color synesthesia, I have yet to memorize pi to more than 18 decimal places (19 digits altogether). Sad. :(

I did know that the 8 before it was the beginning of a string of six nonzero even digits and that no two adjacent digits in that string are identical, though, so I guess I can say I have log(1018 × (10/3)5) (because there were 3 possibilities for each of the digits after the 8) = log(411,522,633,744,855,967,078.18930041152...) = 20.614393726401687813524860483724 decimal places memorized! (or 21.614393726401687813524860483724 digits altogether) Of course, that isn't much better...

EDIT: Thanks to the Nintendo 64, I think I finally figured out a way to remember the last two of those even digits I was talking about! :D

I know very little about some of the people on my friends list. Some people I know relatively well. I read your journals, and you update regularly and in detail. Some of you I hardly know at all. Perhaps you lurk, for whatever reason. But you friended me and I thank you for your interest in my words.

But here's a thought: why not take this opportunity to tell me a little something about yourself. Any old thing at all. Just so the next time I see your name I can say: "Ah, there's so and so...they love to dance with their life-size stuffed walrus."

I'd love it if every single person who friended me would do this. Yes, even you people who comment all the time.

Then post this in your own journal and see what gems of knowledge appear. (see what I did there, taking this text from the last paragraph and making it the repost button? :) )

I've had a LOT of homework lately. That's why I haven't been on LJ in a while - I didn't have the time until just now. To make matters worse, our air card for high-speed Internet broke, so now we're having to resort to dial-up, which means that while using my computer, I have to switch back and forth between two uncomfortable positions: sitting on the floor, and laying on my bed looking down at my computer that's still on the floor but now has the screen upside-down so I can read it more easily. I have to type upside-down in the latter position, too, which means I type WAY slower. But at least it looks cool to scroll up and down like that :)

Here is all of the homework I had today (regardless of whether or not it is due tomorrow or whether or not I have done it today).

- Packet in anatomy due Friday (I've done 2/3 of it)
- Some history terms (done)
- Review for history final next Wednesday (including an essay)
- Review for test on The Great Gatsby next Friday (filled out already)
- Review for English final Friday after next (including two essays)
- Some math (done)
- Yearbook digital photography research paper (done)
- HAS stuff

Also, something I forgot to post yesterday:

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
