I've had a LOT of homework lately. That's why I haven't been on LJ in a while - I didn't have the time until just now. To make matters worse, our air card for high-speed Internet broke, so now we're having to resort to dial-up, which means that while using my computer, I have to switch back and forth between two uncomfortable positions: sitting on the floor, and laying on my bed looking down at my computer that's still on the floor but now has the screen upside-down so I can read it more easily. I have to type upside-down in the latter position, too, which means I type WAY slower. But at least it looks cool to scroll up and down like that :)

Great, this means that if more than 10 days are unusually busy like this weekend has been, I'm definitely gonna fail this one too :(

I don't know what the derogatory term for a woman's breasts is on the candy heart. So I'm confused on that link!

Scared the cr*p out of me when I saw the one about that mother shooting her teenage children like that! I'll be more wary of my own mum now ;-) How sad though :( :( :(

According to another article about it, the candy heart said, "NICE TITS". Even typing it as hidden text that you select to reveal feels weird to do...

EDIT: Don't mind this edit - I'm just finally getting around to updating this comment for my new (but not that new) journal style, which has a black background instead of white (and thus, the text was visible until I fixed it just now).

EDOT: So much for making the text and background both white so it'll remain if I change the background again - I can't figure out how to do it. Sorry for annoying you with all these edits :(

EDIT AGAIN IN 2018: Changed my journal style again in 2015 and FINALLY got around to re-fixing the invisible text in this comment.

I'm not sure if it technically counts as "derogatory", though, since I've only heard the word "derogatory" used to describe racial slurs, but I may be wrong.

I'll be more wary of my own mum now ;-)

I'm lucky to not be very mouthy (or even very talkative), so I should be safe ;)

Turns out it is! I didn't recognize her at first, having rarely seen Gillian Anderson as not Scully. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've looked at ER's userpics page before but apparently don't remember it... :(
