I understand that it's a way of celebrating the revolution, but who names their daughter Facebook? I'd understand if an Egyptian business, an Egyptian city, or to a lesser extent, Egypt itself were renamed Facebook, but a person? Won't that just make it harder for her to understand what Facebook (the site) is? After all, my 11-ish-year-old stupidity under the cut ); therefore, I can only imagine how bad such misconceptions would be for someone with the name Facebook.

Post to your Facebook...I mean, journal!

Now I'm done with all of my homework for this weekend. Yay! That didn't take long. Longer than [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien's estimate of an hour and 45 minutes, but still not long.

Also, yet another profile name change. (When you have a generic username like mine, you feel obligated to at least change your profile name a lot.) Y'see, I wrote my informal essay over the frustration I had been having with my HAS project, and instead of "I couldn't get the converter to convert dates consistently", I put "I couldn't get the converter to consist dates consistently". So my new profile name is "I can't consist consistently." :)

Consist to your journal consistently

So a few days ago I said something silly that I don't remember now, and [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien said, "You're one goofball." Mom thought she had said, "You're one meatball," which gave me the idea to change my profile name to The One Meatball. But a couple of days or so after that, P_A and I were watching Roswell and I suddenly laughed because I randomly remembered the conversation, so P_A said, "Agent Meatball, (something I don't remember)." I finally got around to changing my profile name to Agent Meatball today. Yay!

(I am aware the subject line of this entry isn't from Roswell [or even anything I regularly watch])
matt1993: (missingno.)
I've been straining to come up with a new profile name ever since I decided that "Christmas Modifier: +2" is a kinda lame profile name when it's not Christmas, and I finally have one:

MOM: Did you finish your computer assignment?
ME: Computer sonnet?

So my new profile name is Computer Sonnet. Yay!

Aw, gnat! LJ is down for maintenance, so I'm gonna type stuff to post in Notepad and post it once LJ is back.

Anyways, I accidentally fell asleep after school today. Again. This time, though, once I woke up, I went back to sleep on purpose.

I then played Dungeons & Dragons with [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien and Stephen. This is the first time I've used my tiger Garfield in battle and the first time I leveled up in the game. There was also this funny part where Stephen asked P_A what her charisma modifier was, and she thought he said "Christmas modifier." I've gotta make that into a new profile name now. By the way, my new character is a druid named Juke; we abandoned the campaign that has Cranther. Poor Cranther.

Also, what's weirding me out is how much updates/maintenance is happening on the same day. First, my computer apparently messed up during updates and went into Startup Repair (which I cancelled and started normally, allowing my computer to finish the updates), then ICQ automatically updated, and now LiveJournal maintenance. Is today National Maintenance Day or something?

Witness Protection Name Change
People who enter the Witness Protection Program have to change their names. If you were in that situation, which new name would you choose?

Matt Albinotoast. It's no secret that it would have to be something from backwards music.

Rat me out

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
