Well, it would be weekly if I'd posted this between June 3 and 9, anyway...

Featuring my first and only post in the Legend of Zelda Series community, and surprisingly many Zelda-related posts in general!

(And yeah, I know I'm posting a lot of gaming-related posts lately between my Miiverse backup posts, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate hype, and my fanboying over a certain cute manual guide. Sorry.)

(That inside joke ended up not being used a whole lot, but a couple of years later I did nickname my Zelda amiibo "100PctZlda" [would've been "100% Zelda" but percent signs aren't allowed in amiibo nicknames for some reason?] because of it.
Also, in addition to this being my first and only post in this community, this is also my first Miiverse post to lack the "has played this game" icon, because it's the first time I posted in a community where the icon never appears because the community is for a whole series and not one specific game.)

This game is fun, but I never know how much sense any given task is going to make…

(I believe the first comment on this was me trying to give an example of what I meant: there's one part where you can put one piece of candy [or presumably any other food item] in an empty vending machine and that somehow makes it a completely full vending machine overflowing with food items besides just candy, so you'd think if THAT can happen in the game, then at another part with the sorority girl who's looking for her helmet, just writing "helmet" and giving her that helmet would work, but it didn't. Both of these are probably pretty early in the game since I didn't play Scribblenauts all that much...)

...and after that, I didn't post to Miiverse at all (except possibly replies to other people's posts since those aren't included in the backup?) from the 11th to the 17th, which at the time was my longest hiatus from Miiverse just by being my first more-than-a-day-long hiatus. I was probably busy moving into the dorm again and getting ready for the spring 2013 semester of college. :)

Hey, there's an idea for a totally nerdy survey...

This page has a table (several paragraphs down from the beginning of that section...) that lists the dates every* Super Smash Bros. character debuted (because in SSB4, the order you fight them in All-Star Mode is based on that).

Use that to figure out your answers to these questions:

1) Which SSB character(s), if any, debuted on your birthday in any year?

2) Which SSB character(s) debuted closest to the date you were born?
Meta Knight (debuted March 23, 1993 - the date closest to July 14, 1993 in that list).

3) Which SSB character(s) debuted closest to the date you created your LiveJournal/DreamWidth/some-other-journal-site account? (If you have/had multiple journals, you may answer this separately for all of them, some of them, or just one. Whichever you prefer.)
My LJ was created on August 19, 2007 - the character whose debut was closest to that is Rosalina (November 1, 2007).
My DW was created on May 13, 2017, long after the debut of the newest character (Corrin, on June 25, 2015).

EDIT IN 2018: ...The site is gone now, and due to the way the site is organized, web.archive.org didn't even save ALL of the comics. :( So I went through all the pages WERE saved one by one and made this entry into a hopefully-complete, more useful list of links to all the Garfield as Garfield comics that survived. Note that some comics were able to be found on various versions of the main page, week-by-week archives, or the "Best of" page, but not the individual comics' pages, or vice versa.

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
