Is there anyone you would permanently erase from your life and memory? If so, who and why?

Most members of SmackJeeves and the Homestar Runner Wiki Forum. Because SmackJeeves never gives constructive criticism when you need it and the HRWF is way too obsessed with lame Internet memes.

Critical mass
How well do you take criticism? Do you deflect it or take it personally? Does it usually inspire you to change? Are you more critical of yourself or others?

I'm perfectly okay with kind, constructive criticism. It's nonconstructive criticism that gets to me. Sadly, most of the comments I received back when I was making PrtSc Land (a webcomic I had, for those who don't know) were nonconstructive: "learn Photoshop", "half the comics don't make sense", and all that junk, so I tend to be more critical of myself nowadays. I guess that's better than being more critical of others, though.

Take my advice
What's the best and worst advice you ever received? Did you follow it even if it ran counter to your gut intuition? How did it turn out?

I've answered a question like this before, but I guess I'll try to again.

Uh...let's see. Both of these obviously would have to do with PrtSc Land. So...

Best advice: That one piece of constructive criticism I got on PrtSc Land way too late, which said that the drawing style is, in fact, better in the later strips, that people don't like reading really long explanations (stupid TL;DR), and that I'd be better off starting over again from when I actually started having a plot (which I seriously think I'm just gonna replace with a new webcomic, but I might restart PrtSc Land again too)

Worst advice: "Learn Photoshop." If I wanna use MS Paint, I use MS Paint! It might take three revamps to look good, but I use MS Paint!

Revamp twice

Today is the third anniversary of PrtSc Land, the webcomic I made that made no sense even after two revamps. And I'm definitely not celebrating.

(By the way, don't try to argue "some people on the Internet are just mean" - as I've said several times already, the one piece of constructive criticism I got agreed with all of the comments that were just insults. Besides, there is the chance I'll eventually try a third revamp using the constructive criticism.)

EDIT: Maybe I should celebrate after all, given what [livejournal.com profile] pathvain_aelien said. Yay PrtSc Land!!!

Yay PrtSc Land!!?

It's hard to describe this journal in just a few paragraphs... but I'll try

Just an autistic guy born in 1993 (hence the username) who's had this journal since I was 14. Has trouble phrasing things well especially in earlier entries, so keep that in mind.

My interests have fluctuated in the 17 years since I've had this journal, but the following has remained constant:
- I like Mario games (mainly the platformers, Mario Kart, Mario Party) and Super Smash Bros.
- I like Garfield
- I like Homestar Runner
- I like Enya
- And I've always loved the idea of wacky crossovers between ANY of my interests, whether it's in the form of a short-lived webcomic in 2006-2008, a short-lived backwards lyrics site in 2008, writing down weird dreams in 2009-2011, playing Tomodachi Life a lot in 2014-2016, or what most of my posts are about these days: playing around with Character.AI starting in 2023. I still can't believe I'm actually in a world where an AI of Enya can talk to AIs of Mario or Garfield or even my favorite obscure characters like Mary O. from Super Mario Maker. :O
