While randomly looking through the archives of my LJ friends' LJ friends, I found that otterdance had done this meme and decided I'd do it too.

EDIT WAY LATER: I think maybe I should mention that I didn't have a Paid account at the time, so I couldn't use the Friends of Friends page - I was randomly looking at rovanda's friends page.

IF YOUR LIFE WAS A MOVIE, WHAT WOULD THE SOUNDTRACK BE?

So, here's how it works:
1. Open your library (iTunes, Winamp, Media Player, iPod, etc)
2. Put it on shuffle
3. Press play
4. For every question, type the song that's playing
5. When you go to a new question, press the next button
7. No cheating and doctoring your list to make yourself look cooler than the person you took this from

Super Mario Bros. soundtrack - Overworld [Hurry Up!] (Doesn't sound like life's okay if it's the hurry up version! :P Also, this was about the point where I checked to make sure that the non-video game music on my iPod was still there. It is.)

Mental:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl soundtrack - Star Wolf Assault

Flashback:
Return of the King soundtrack - The Eagles (which marks the first non-video game song that shows up)

Getting Back Together:
Enya - Sumiregusa (Even though I had much less music last time, it actually took less time for me to get an Enya song this time :) Of course, that's if you don't count backwards Enya...)

Wedding Scene:
Super Smash Bros. Brawl soundtrack - Ice Climbers Victory (That must be one quick wedding if a Super Smash Bros. victory theme is the song for it. At least it's less random than the next one...)

Birth of Child:
Weird Al Yankovic - Your Horoscope For Today

Falling In Love:
Enya - Less Than a Pearl (Whew, it's making sense again!)

Final Battle:
Super Mario World soundtrack - Welcome / Castle Clear (But not for long. If I could switch this with the first day at school one, they'd both make more sense...)

You can tell I have a lot of video game music now - and I still haven't actually finished adding all the video game soundtracks that I want on my iPod!

I also removed backwards music from my iPod a while back - I still like backwards music, but at some point it turned out that I wouldn't have enough room for both forwards and backwards versions of every song I have so far.

I just did this, and wow, what a random assortment of weird music came up. I think one actually... sort of... suited the life event, but most of it was just non sequiturs. And apparently my prom scene is twice as long as anything else, even though I never went.

Maybe I was being a bit too literal, but the "Falling in Love" one was actually a love song. So I thought that fit pretty well.

I added the videos mostly because I figured most people would have at least one or two songs on there they didn't know, and hey, I like to promote things I like. :D

See, I should've done that for the same reason. The first time I did this meme, I did link to the backwards lyric pages on Ours Will You 1-Up whenever I got a backwards version of a song that had lyrics, but of course OWY1U is now down for a redesign that I've been procrastinating for so long, I even removed the links when I reposted it.
