I wrote my regional short story yesterday a lot faster than I thought I would! (Which isn't saying much - it still took from about 6 PM to almost midnight.)

Today, I went to a math competition and won first place in both the individual and team divisions just like last time and won another iPod nano (though this one's green whereas the first, which I apparently didn't mention in that other post, was silver). I'm still not sure what I'm gonna do with it, though I've been thinking about giving it to pathvain_aelien since she lost her iPod shuffle recently.

Wait, since when do they give awesome prizes at math competitions? All I've ever won were either T-shirts or funny little prizes.

I dunno. Have you ever been to a college math competition? Maybe that has something to do with it.

All of them that I've been to were at colleges but for high schoolers. Maybe that's it?

Congrats! You are awesome. See you aren't losing any math abilities. I think giving the new ipod to your sis would be sweet. Although ipods do wear out so keeping it as a reserve when your old one dies would also be smart.

Wow, well done. Giving your least favourite coloured iPod to your friend is probably the way to go as selling on eBay is a pain in the butt.

I think a Nintendo DS was one of the prizes some other year; probably the year I won the other iPod.
