I still like the inside joke. And you already know that I think about inside jokes. They don't have to necessarily be understood completely to be enjoyed and used.

(Explanation to anyone besides us who happens to revisit this entry even later than we did: Some drama on LJ that happened much later made it seem not only plausible, but likely, that a lot of my old entries and comments - including this one - might make people, even my LJ friends, hate me, so I linked to all of the posts that I was worried about.)

But what about the way I used it here? Even in the original entry, I said "I probably shouldn't say 'holy whole hand dealer' when talking about religion", and it could very well be that I was right about that...

That, and Writer's Block answers that aren't friends-only all show up on the page that you see if you click "View 516 (or whatever number) Answers". Someone going there could have misunderstood it...

That phrase still wouldn't be offensive to anyone, even someone super religious. That would be a negative number on a scale of 1-10.
