Where were you?

[Error: unknown template qotd]Well, when it actually happened, asleep at home in Texas like I always was at 5:52 AM Central in 3rd grade (and, for that matter, almost always was in any grade from elementary to high school). I first found out about it on the news that morning about 3 hours later.
Not terribly interesting compared to the experiences of people who were actually in New York at the time, but at least the idiotic political opinion I came up with soon afterwards is made fun of by this userpic.

Date: Thu, Sep. 15th, 2011 18:43 (UTC)I even described this userpic to you while I was making it. I even remember you saying you understood my explanation of it, because I had thought I wasn't being clear enough and asked if you understood it.
EDIT: And, maybe to clarify: "Starman" is the official name of the stars in Mario games that make you invincible, thus distinguishing between them and Power Stars (the ones you collect at the end of levels in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2).
