Dear Anxiety,

Okay, anxiety, I get why you think the entire Internet is going to be gone two years from now. You're probably right about that.

But WHY are you continuing to make me worry about everyone hating me for still liking/using/refusing to leave LJ? It's been nearly TWO MONTHS, and not one person has actually said "I hate you because you still like LJ", and I've actually met several new friends who are on LJ and not DreamWidth. So why are you still making me worry about it?! Anxiety, you're ruining my life!

Oh anxiety, it is wacky. I really, REALLY doubt that people are going to hate you for refusing to leave LJ. But I know that anxiety laughs at reassurances.

I'd been most worried about being hated by those who've actually deleted their LJs and aren't just cross-posting to both LJ and DW like I am, so in this case, it actually helps a LOT! (I just hope it lasts...)

Anxiety is awful, and sometimes there doesn't seem to be rhyme or reason to what it attaches. Of course, it does make sense to us, mostly, but we usually know it's not rational, yet the anxiety remains...

I can totally understand not wanting to leave LJ, by the way. After all those years, and it's a special place! I won't ever delete mine. They would have to shut down the servers or kick me off or something.
