What is WRONG with me?!
Okay, you see, my SAT is tomorrow and I have been practicing essay prompts with pathvain_aelien. I was originally going to use an example from The Good Earth by Pearl S. Buck to support my thesis in today's essay, but then when I got to the paragraph I was going to talk about it in, I said "In The Good Earth..." and then talked about The Lord of the Flies by William Golding as if I were absolutely sure Buck and Golding made an agreement to switch their names and the names of their books. Good thing I noticed it before time ran out...
WHAT THE BEAT COPING GNAT WAS I THINKING?!?!

And you wished me good luck after the SAT started. But fortunately, before it ended.

When I'm stressed, my breathing gets shallow and I can't think as well. If I can remember to breathe slowly and deeply, my brain gets more oxygen, I think better, and often start to feel less stressed too. When I'm really focused on something and concentrating, I actually hold my breath unconsciously and generally get a headache unless I remember to breathe.
Kinda weird, I know, but it seems to happen to other people too. In yoga class, the teachers are always reminding people to breathe because a lot of people tend to hold their breath while doing difficult poses.
