At the beginning of the day, I figured today would be awful because of the CREATIVE WRITING assignment.

But then, in English class I found that it's not due until Friday, and proceeded to have little homework today, making me think today would be a great day.

Then, when I got home, I took too long of a break before starting my homework, and got done late (but not too late), making today an average day.

Just remember: Count the dark circle at the center of the ring pattern. This is pith formed during the first year. :P
